Bailout Package for Porn?

Hey, it can't hurt to ask. And that is what Larry Flynt and Joe Francis are doing. They are arriving in white Prius's, on their first trip to the committee, to ask for some of the handouts that are going on.

You know Larry Flynt. He has been an outspoken advocate for the freedom of speech for decades, as well as, the publisher of Hustler Magazine. His company has an annual turnover of approximately $300 million. Flynt has fought several legal battles involving the First Amendment, and has run for public office a number of times. He has bipolar disorder and is paralyzed from the waist down due to injuries sustained in a 1978 assassination attempt. At one point in his life Flynt states, just like Bush, that he has had a vision of god. And just like Bush, he was born again and became an Evangelical christian. Unlike Bush, Flynt distributes porn while Bush...well, we all know what he distributes...

You have heard of Joe Francis, but he may not be the household name that Larry Flynt is. I'm sure you've seen some advertisements for Joe's company which make and market the "Girls Gone Wild" videos. His company brings in over $100 million per year.

Both are continually in and out of courtrooms. Both have built business empires through the legitimate sale of pornography. Both are feeling the effects of the financial downturn as people begin to 'tighten their belts'.

As pornography is a legitimate and highly lucrative business in America to the tune of nearly $12 billion, they feel on behalf of that industry that perhaps there is room for some bailout money for them as well. Since Wallstreet has failed the global economy, which in turn, has begun to hurt the sales of the pornography industry they feel that there is room for financial bailout discussions.

We all know that there are many politicians who have their 'one on the side', or their own 'intern page' that they fondle. Larry and Joe feel that, if they all use their heads, they may find room in their pockets for a porn bailout.

Hey, you guys, the line starts back there...
