WASHINGTON, DC: In a stunning late-hour development, President George W. Bush has granted Osama bin Laden a pardon for the murder of more than 2,700 Americans in the fall of 2001.
"This kinda came out of nowhere," said a White House aide who requested anonymity. "I wouldn't have put bin Laden on the short list myself. On the other hand, maybe this is the president's way of finding closure. Because ... y'know ... he wasn't actually able to kill bin Laden, or capture him, or even keep him from making all those (expletive) videos. I mean, jeez, let's face it: Osama bin Laden is basically a one-man Netflix of cave movies."
The aide paused, then went on to say, "Can you believe this dude (Bush) was actually president for eight (expletive) years? What were we thinking? Seriously, what the (expletive) were we thinking?"
The aide began weeping quietly. "May God have mercy on me for my role in the unfathomable travesty that was the Bush administration."
Conservative columnist William Kristol insisted the pardon made sense.
"George W. Bush is a brilliant strategist. I'm sure he has a good reason for this pardon. I'll figure it out."
Kristol sucked his thumb for a few minutes, lost in thought. He was then distracted by a brightly colored piece of string.
A passerby, told of the bin Laden pardon, offered a possible explanation:
"Maybe Bush is trying to smoke him out. Wasn't that the plan?"

My response:
Bush didn't smoke him out, that is for sure, and the world public knows this. However, Bush was smoking something for 8 years!!

Is this how to run a campaign?! Saddening!!
Some of this may be difficult to watch, but the Repugnicants didn't think so. Due to their continued massive campaign to breed fear into the eyes, hearts and minds of the American public they showed this video at their convention. Although, the party and administration decided to NOT GO AFTER THE PARTIES INVOLVED IN THESE ATTACKS, and instead invaded a sovereign country, they still use this as the cornerstone of their campaign as if they have done good or right to and by any American.
This is the public apology to Americans, by Keith Olberman during the convention, for the Repugnicant's misuse of this tragedy for their own benefit. Once again proving to the American people that they have no regard for anyone but themselves and their party's success to the path to the White House.
Wake up America!! See the writing on the wall of the self centered, criminals that these people are with no regard to anyone but themselves.
I follow with the Sarah Palin story of the birth of her latest child to exemplify this point:
I heard the story of Sarah Palin and the birth of her latest kid on NPR radio. She was giving a speech in Dallas. Shortly before she was to take the stage for this speech her water broke. She was concerned that she couldn’t give the speech, as she wanted to badly. After discussion with her doctor in Alaska, she gave the speech. After the speech, any responsible mother-to-be knowing her age and the fact that she knew the child had down syndrome, would have gone to the nearest hospital. Not Sarah. No, she is “the young maverick”! She got into her car and was driven past three Children’s Hospitals in the Dallas area as they went to the airport. Upon reaching the airport she got on a plane without any concern as to the care of the other passengers, let alone the safety of the birthing child. That is due to her age, her fifth birth, down syndrome child, she got on the plane without regard to anyone else’s schedule just in case there were issues and the plane would have to do an emergency landing on her behalf. The plane went on to Seattle. One would think that then a responsible mother-to-be would find the nearest hospital as she was well into a fourth hour of labor timelines now. No, not Sarah, she is “the young maverick”! She waited another hour for the next plane to Anchorage. She got onto this plane, once again with no regard to the passengers or the baby but only herself, as she wanted the baby to be born in her small town in Alaska. Once they reach Anchorage, and upon driving through to reach her little town approx 45 minutes away , they pass by another two hospitals through Anchorage. The mother-to-be, knowing that she has a child with special needs (to which she cut the funding for in Alaska by 62% until she realized that she would be having a child with these needs) keeps going until she reaches the small town that has the largest Meth lab concentration in the state, in order to have her child.
This is a simple scene of the ignorance and arrogance of the Repugnicant VP. This example and others, such as the fact that she fired the local librarian after the woman refused to ban certain books from the library that Sarah wanted banned. The librarian was reinstated only after a public outcry…
There is the other story that Sarah and family were in DisneyLand and upon the sighting of “Goofey”, Sarah shot him…I am still checking to see if this story is true… ;-)

Wake the fuck up!!
I get so frustrated with how we are continuously able to see, in hind sight, all of the things that we, as a society, know are wrong on so many levels. As history repeats itself we find that we keep seeing the same things. Well, if hind sight is 20/20 and we keep repeating our mistakes we are none the better as a society. It's time to wake the fuck up!
Our attention span as a society is...what...what was I saying...oh...10 seconds...
Don't people remember who voted for the Iraq war and who didn't? Don't people remember who stood beside Bush for this illegality for years stating that he believes the President is doing a great job. Don't people remember who stated that we should be in Iraq for the next 100 years, and now who says we should get out, but only as soon as we "win"? Don't people remember that our administration has already declared that it won in Iraq over 1000 days ago? Don't people remember the Rupugnicant platform of not wanting to send jobs oversees, and has subsequently sent tens of thousands of people to Iraq to destroy and rebuild a sovereign country on our dime? Don't people take the time to see the lies espoused by McCant about his exemplary voting records for the veterans? Don't people take the time to...?
By taking approx. $1 Trillion dollars away from our own country's infrastructure and policy necessities they have left our economy in ruins. This has also massive global repercussions as well. They don't care one bit. The privacy of war has allowed these men to fill their offshore havens and manipulate those hundreds of billions of dollars to their liking. With no oversight to these private firms most of this money has disappeared.
Don't people remember when this same administration chided Saddam Hussein for his corruption and financial misgivings with money's that our country sent as aid? Don't people remember that Al Qaeda was behind 9-11 and not Iraq? Don't people remember...? Don't people know how we as a country have become despised throughout the world due to our greed, complacency and arrogance? What about our "Christian" society that states- do not kill, love your brother as yourself, do unto others as you would have them do unto you?
Wake the fuck up, all of you heretics!
If we keep doing the same things, we keep getting the same results. If we vote for another old white guy elitist, we will end up in the same place we are now, asking the same damn questions.
Let's try something different this time. It certainly can't hurt. Vote for Obama!!

I think this deserves a look...
I came across this video and feel that it deserves a look. This comes from a 14 year old...after going over today's blog banter, Click the vid below! It takes me back to my Saturday post a bit about how our government does not wish to give us the real truth as they don't feel we can handle it...
On June 5th, 2008 the Senate intelligence committee has released their Phase II report on pre-war intelligence on Iraq. To no one’s surprise, it confirms that the Bush administration’s rationale for the war in Iraq was founded almost entirely on mendacity and disinformation:
* Statements and implications by the President and Secretary of State suggesting that Iraq and al-Qa’ida had a partnership, or that Iraq had provided al-Qa’ida with weapons training, were not substantiated by the intelligence.
* Statements by the President and the Vice President indicating that Saddam Hussein was prepared to give weapons of mass destruction to terrorist groups for attacks against the United States were contradicted by available intelligence information.
* Statements by President Bush and Vice President Cheney regarding the postwar situation in Iraq, in terms of the political, security, and economic, did not reflect the concerns and uncertainties expressed in the intelligence products.
* Statements by the President and Vice President prior to the October 2002 National Intelligence Estimate regarding Iraq’s chemical weapons production capability and activities did not reflect the intelligence community’s uncertainties as to whether such production was ongoing.
* The Secretary of Defense’s statement that the Iraqi government operated underground WMD facilities that were not vulnerable to conventional airstrikes because they were underground and deeply buried was not substantiated by available intelligence information.
* The Intelligence Community did not confirm that Muhammad Atta met an Iraqi intelligence officer in Prague in 2001 as the Vice President repeatedly claimed.
Just like in "The Wizard of Oz" there was someone behind the curtain...
